Memorial Hospital of Converse County Announces The Addition Of Two New Providers

Memorial Hospital of Converse County is pleased to welcome both Dr. Frederick Freeman and Dr. Steven Beer to our team of physicians in Douglas.  Dr. Freeman specializes in Ear, Nose, Throat, Allergies and Sinuses while Dr. Beer is a Neurosurgeon with a focus on brain and spinal surgeries.  Both will practice in Douglas, while also maintaining clinics in the greater region. 

 

Dr. Fred Freeman is a Board Certified Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Head and Neck Society.  Dr. Freeman received his initial training from the University of Miami and Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL.  He completed his residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Duke University Medical Center.  

Dr. Freeman began his career at the ENT Health and Surgical Center in Melbourne, FL in 1986 and moved to Casper, WY in 2016 where he served as the Attending ENT physician at Mountain View Hospital.  Dr. Freeman will hold clinics in Douglas, Casper, and Torrington, WY.  

 

  


Dr. Steven Beer is a Board Certified Fellow of the American Board of Neurological Surgery who received his initial training from the University of Iowa.  Dr. Beer began his practice in Cheyenne, WY in 2001.

 

Dr. Beer specializes in treating brain and spinal tumors, peripheral nerve disorders, herniated disk, spine fractures, and spondylolisthesis. He specializes in the conservative and operative management of brain and spinal disorders.  Dr. Beer sees patients in the Orthopedic, Sports Medicine, and Neurosurgery Clinic located on the first floor of Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas and performs surgeries at Memorial Hospital or Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
